Roulette

'Roulette' is not a truly fair game of chance in the fact that the odds are stacked in favor of the Casino operator. That is, on average the Casino will always win.

Please read the Home page for a description of the Martingale System.

The two main variants of Roulette are the 'French' (or European) table and the 'American' table.

The obvious difference here being the French Table has one 'Zero' where the American table has a Zero and a 'Double Zero'.  This is important as it effects the odds at play.

On any outside bet ( 'Black or Red', 'Odd or Even' or 'Bottom 18' or 'Top 18') there are two possible outcomes that pay similar to Heads or Tails when playing Two up.

Two up odds are 50/50 or even however the Zero and Double Zero in Roulette affect your outcome.

If the ball lands on Zero on a French Table you lose your bet and this drops your chances from a 50% chance of winning to 48.65%.

On an American table you are worse of again as if the ball lands on Zero or Double Zero you loose and this results in a 47.37% chance of winning.

At first, Zero or Double Zero does not sound like much but when you realize that they are there to guarantee the Casino will always win in the long run, playing any gambling system employing Roulette becomes untenable.

Yet I am sure people will still persist.

Please read the Home page for a description of the Martingale System.

The Roulette Martingale simulator only asks for three inputs and assumes you are laying any outside bet ( 'Black or Red', 'Odd or Even' or 'Bottom 18' or 'Top 18 - attempting to use this system playing the inside numbers is a sure fired way to quickly blow your Kitty away!}

It then runs for 100 spins of the Roulette wheel or until you have run out of money.

The first input is your Kitty - how much money you are prepared to risk wagering.  The default value is set to $100 but this can be changed to anything between $1 and $1,000,000.

The second input sets your initial bet and subsequent bets after winning. The default value is set to $10 but this can be changed to anything between $1 and $1,000,000.

Inputs

The third input asks if you wish to play on an American Table or a French table.

Once you have set your inputs to your desired amounts simply press the 'Go' button and read the printout for a description of how your wagering went in this simulation.

NOTE: It makes no mathematical difference to the outcome of this system if you change your bet from Red or Black or any other outside bet at any time (this is a common misconception) - the only relevant point mathematically is whether you win or lose.
